Weekend Check List

1.  Go to the aquarium, check.
2. Abram has an accident in his carseat. check
3. Try to change Abram really quickly in the back of the car because it's FREEZING outside and pull off his shirt so fast that somehow he gets a strawberry under his eye. check.
4. Make sure to get annual passes so that he can not only look miserable because he wants to look at the fish instead of getting his picture I.D. made, but that he looks like you punched him in the face. Check, check.
5. Find what you think is a secluded spot to feed your baby baby-food, where you are sitting against the aquarium as he is in the stroller.  Make sure you time it perfectly with a dive show, so that while you are in mid-feed the crowd gathers around you and your baby because you are on display and annoying guests that they can't see the diver because you are sitting in front, facing them. Check, double check.
6. Try to play it off and go meet your husband and oldest son in the dark-making sure that you roll over many hands of people that are sitting in the floor for the show and bump people in the back with your big honkin' stroller all the while getting dirty looks as you very slowly due to the crowd volume, move in front of the dive show guide. Check, check, and check.
7. Tantrum before leaving. Check.
8. See your muffin nephew and hold him while he sleeps like a little angel. check.
9. Watch your son as you think he is going to lovingly stroke his new cousin's head, but insted gives him his first noogie (sp?). Check.
10. Make sure that someone poops in the bath, and find it AFTER their bath is done because your oldest picks it up and says, "Mommy what's that?" Check.
11. Convince your hubby to bleach the tub and toys.  Check, check.
12. Take your oldest to his first Sunday School Class, because he is officially a Sunbeam today, and not in nursery anymore. Check.
13. Try not to cry when he tells you he doesn't want to go. Check.
14. Go see old friends and have lots of fun. Check.
15. Make sure oldest has BIG tantrum when leaving. Check, double check.
16. Make sure "someone" poops AGAIN in the bath tub. Check.
17. Bleach AGAIN. Almost check......ugh.
18. Make sure that the oldest child runs to get something and slips on wet wood flooring and falls head first to ensure a goose egg on the forehead above the strawberry as stated above. Check, check, check.
19. Let child stay up an hour past his bed time to make sure nothing is wrong with his head, because he hit that hard, and you are that paranoid. Check.
20. Have oldest flip over you while you both are on the couch, making sure that his rock solid head hits your nose precisely on the bridge, and end up comforting him more than getting comforted yourself, because he is so upset he hurt you. Check, double check.
21. Dread making an appointment for the youngest with his never ending ear infection, because the doc may wonder what has been happening to the oldest. Check
22. Stay up too late to blog about it. Check.

OK, so I've had days JUST LIKE THAT, which is why I'm laughing as hard as I am right now.

Thank you.

Yeah that was a mixture of laughing and crying. Love the part about the poop in the tub. Are ya still thinking about me dealing with all these boys issues? Cause every time I read a story where Abram gets hurt, I think "that's what I have to look forward to". :)
